Episode Thirty One

https://bufferingpodcast.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/episode-31-042412.mp3
On this week’s episode, returning guests Emily Dyess and Andrew Nelson join Dan and Adam to discuss some streaming media news, including the change to Hulu.com’s advertising structure (where ambiguous tone take the conversation in to different directions), as well as the recent cropping up of TV Networks streaming through third party apps and websites. They also play Movie Bluff, but futz with the rules a bit, and the show goes pretty long. It’s a really great game though, and the new rule really improves it.

Bonus Tracks

Mic Checks

https://bufferingpodcast.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/episode-31-mic-checks.mp3
During this week’s mic checks, Andrew suggests we play the game “Celebrity Snacks”, where an actor or actress is named by someone in the group, and everyone guesses what their favorite snack would be. Think of it as what you’d expect them to grab from the Craft Services table. Give it a try sometime. It’s fun to hear everyone try to rationalize their answers.

Show Opening False Starts

This week, Dan tried writing out his show opener, and it hit a few snags along the way. Listen in.

Bonus Build a Title Game

https://bufferingpodcast.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/episode-31-bonus-build-a-title.mp3
Emily, Andrew, Adam and Dan play a bonus round of Build a Title after the episode is over. It’s pretty impressive.
