Sorry we’re late. We’re adjusting to the normal lives of citizens again, and this really just crept up upon us. Good news? We had one awesome show this week. Really. I think that this week’s “Movie Bluff” was one of the best we’ve had thus far. People are really latching on to it. But that’s not what we’re here to talk about. It’s time for this week’s mic check! A silly time was had by all as we recounted our holiday vacation experiences (and the silliness definitely crept into the episode too) [‘crept’ twice in one post? Either I need a thesaurus, or it’s getting downright spooky around here]. … Yeah. It was kind of like what just happened right there. Still, fun times all around, and a great Mic Check and Episode to lead us into 2012!

Merry Christmas from the future, listeners!
Rather than try to sneak away from family activities on Christmas Eve, I’ve opted to just give you all three Christmas presents now … as long as you ignore the fact that I’ve already posted the Mic Checks, and that the episode usually drops on Friday anyway.
That’s right! You get the post episode bonus track early, so you’ll have plenty to listen to between activities at home with the family. That’s near two hours worth of filler as you wait for dinner, or whatever your family does on Christmas night.

We’re so close to Christmas that I can even smell it! Or perhaps the proximity is reasonable enough that I am aptly excited for the gift-exchanging madness (not the returning of gifts, but the trade on Christmas morn.
To cut a long story short [“Too late”], we had a fantastic taping last night (yes, yes, another Wednesday show) with Angie Gauer, in from NYC, and Matt Walstead, out of Pawn America. Definitely make sure to check out Saturday’s bonus track, as it involves “The Night of Judging”. Great story.

0 What do you mean you taped on a Wednesday?
I know, right?
I do need to apologize for taking so long to get all of Episode 14’s content up this week. I’ve set it up where I do not work Mondays and Fridays, and all of this extra sleeping is making me sleepy. Viscious cycle, but that’s not the point.
The point is we have a lot of new content for you this week! First, as per usual, we have a great mic check, where I regailed the guests with stories of my days as a mascot. I may post pictures tied to that … if you’re good. Mayhaps a Christmas gift for all you good kiddos. And I just saw “Arthur Christmas”, so I am chock full of Christmas cheer. Funny, imaginative Christmas film I know I’ll be watching near-yearly, along with “Muppet Christmas Carol”, “Muppet Family Christmas”, “Santabear’s High Flying Adventure”, and “Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol”. Good times.

0 Episode 13 – Why do I keep calling it ‘Episode 12’?
Happy Thursday, December 8th, all!
First, I will admit now that I forgot to snap a photo of our guests for this week. My fault. Duly noted.
Moving past that, we have opted for our official game for “Buffering …”! We will be using Adam’s “Movie Bluff” game moving forward, and if you have any ideas on improving it in the future, please let us know on here, or on Twitter. We want to create a game that you can play with your friends will little prep or upkeep, so let us know how we can improve the product we have created for YOU!
This week’s episode was really fun to tape this week, with two BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW GUESTS, never before recorded by our microphones, so make sure and check that out tomorrow, but, as usual, we have a Mic Check bonus track for you to check out to gear you up for tomorrow.

0 Episode 12 – Month Number 12, Episode 12
Happy December, everyone! We are having a blast and a half in the studio this month, now that we’re finally working on our new games.
You didn’t know? Oh, right. We’ve been working off of the “Leonard Maltin Game”, made famous by Doug Benson of the “Doug Loves Movies” podcast, among other things, but our goal was to have our own thing. We lucked out! We got two! We play both on this week’s episode, which’ll drop tomorrow, but today’s bonus track is Dan, Adam, and guests Katie Best and Peter Jurgensen, giving Adam’s game a dry run to ensure its success for the episode itself.
But … but … there’s more! There are TWO bonus tracks available today! We hit the record button early, to allow Peter and Katie to get comfortable with their microphones, and had a great 20 minutes of chatting, pizza-ing, and Dan standing in the kitchen, enunciating aggressively in the hopes that his audio would get picked up from afar.

0 Happy Turkey Day, Kaiser Soze!
A happy day before Black Friday to everyone!
This week we messed with the format, and the main episode will be comprised of loads of Bonus Track type material (Leonard Maltin Game, Build a Title, etc.) but we knew we couldn’t stop ourselves from also doing a Mic Check to start the night off. You can find that in the Bonus Track Archive! Check it out! We went for way too timely on this one, and listed that which we were thankful for for Thanksgiving, but we had a lot of fun with it.
On top of that, I also screened the intro to “Dan VS”, a show I recently discovered via iTunes, and have immediately absorbed. I recommend you check it out for yourself and enjoy!
Finally, thank you to everyone who submitted a sentence to Adam’s bio. It has been updated on the About: The Hosts page on the site. We also read it to Adam, and let him try to figure out who submitted what. It was pretty fun, and you can find that audio on the The Hosts page as well. Your new assignment is to go on to Facebook, if you’re friends with Adam, and find the photo you want to accompany his biography. Let’s try to get another week or so turnaround on this.

Hey, hey, hey.
How’s everyone’s snowy Sunday going (assuming you are in the Twin Cities as you read this)? As a result, decorations are going up in the Frank Oz Memorial Studio for a holiday I am not allowed to mention until Friday, November 25th at 12:00 a.m.
Here’s the whole shebang for you:
First, I’ve posted the bonus Build-a-Title game in the Bonus Tracks Archive. Yes, it seems as if our games completely rip off “Doug Loves Movies“, but our game is almost done. I’m hoping to have the rules tacked down before the New Year. Probably something along the lines of “Scene It”, mixing in music trivia. We’ll take your ideas too.
Second, we SHOULD have an episode for Black Friday, but guests are not yet tacked down, so I can only advertise that we’ll have something for you to listen to as you stand outside at Midnight on Friday morning, waiting for IKEA to open so you can get that free Swedish Meatball with the purchase of a Billy bookcase (or whatever deals they’re offering these days).
Third, THANK YOU for listening to us for 10 episodes so far. We love everything we do each week to bring you +2 hours of content each week, and we know we’ll keep having that fun until we sell out.
