The Studio

The Frank Oz Memorial [Theatre Memorial] Studio
Est. 2011
Find us on Foursquare!

Welcome to the Frank Oz Memorial Studio. To save you some trouble, no, Frank Oz is not dead yet. We are fully aware. And no, we don’t think the name is in bad taste. Think of this as a lifetime achievement award on a budget. We can’t establish ourselves as the Frank Oz Studio, and then, once he dies, change our name and try to keep our street cred.

The Frank Oz Memorial Studio will technically operate like Air Force One. Where ever we record episodes of the “Buffering …” podcast, that studio will officially be known as the Frank Oz Memorial Studio (on top of whatever official name said studio has already received).

The current incarnation of the studio is Dan’s apartment’s living room in Uptown Minneapolis. We figured having four microphones on a table around a few couches and chairs would be the best venue for us to discuss that which we love, Internet Media (streamable Movies, TV Shows and Music).

Below are some photos of the studio, as well as a video walk through. Enjoy!

(Where Dan Sits)
A comfy chair, where Dan has ample access to leg room, plus a place to put his drink.
(Where Adam Sits)
It's the comfy leather couch in Dan's living room. Adam gets to be comfy while dealing with the mixer.
Our Mixing Board!
Here is where Adam ensures that everyone is nice and loud so you folks at home can hear us!
Literally, it's Dan's guest futon
Much like when people come to visit, they get to stay on the guest futon. It's like a giant, foldable pillow.
